LEONID PEVZNER PhD, EPA/NYS DOL ASB. INSPECTOR

PROJECT MANAGER

Leonid Pevzner is the Project Manager of YU’s Hazardous Materials Services group. He has over 23 years of experience in hazardous materials evaluation and industrial hygiene. His expertise includes all phases of asbestos, lead paint and other hazardous materials management, universal and hazardous waste, PCBs, mold, radon, indoor air quality investigation and abatement design. His expert credentials in his being a certified EPA/NYS Asbestos Inspector, Project Designer, Management Planner, Project Monitor, Mold Assessor, as well as a certified NYC DEP Investigator.

Mr. Pevzner manages a team of engineers and inspectors providing inspections and project monitoring activities, developing comprehensive hazardous materials survey reports, response actions, site specific variances, Workplace Safety Plans, abatement specifications, and design documents in accordance with EPA, NIOSH, NESHAP, NYSDOL, and NYCDEP regulatory requirements. He has managed many high-profile hazmat projects performed in the New York City metropolitan area and throughout New York and New Jersey. His projects include educational, transportation, military, industrial, commercial, health care and residential facilities, buildings, and structures. He possesses all necessary professional certifications and is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association.
