YU & Associates, Inc. (YU) has been retained to provide site engineering and program sub phase services for this A to Z school renovation and construction project. The existing facility is being expanded from a 450 to an 850 student capacity. Investigative services provided by YU included Phase 1, environmental site assessment, traffic study, subsurface geotechnical investigation and topographic and utility surveys. Upon completion of investigation phase, YU provided reporting of all findings and worked closely with project architect to prepare conceptual site plans for the future school structure.

Upon completion of sub phase, YU provided site engineering including grading and drainage for the school site and remote parking lot, storm water management, design of new access drive, analysis of off-site sewer facilities and obtaining a TWA Permit for new sanitary sewer.

YU conducted asbestos, lead base paint, PCB Mercury and radon inspections, developed recommendations and abatement plans and specifications.
