YU & Associates, Inc. (YU) was retained by New Jersey School Construction Corporation (NJSCC) to provide environmental services as part of a task order contract for the proposed replacement of Public School 35 in Jersey City, New Jersey. NJSCC proposes the construction of an approximately 94,594 square-feet school for 511 students in grades K-5.

The NJSCC proposed the demolition of the existing school and other structures and construction of a new facility. The proposed facility will encompass 94,594 square-feet including provision for staff parking and play areas. It will be a completely up-to-date facility for approximately 511 grade K-5 students.
